Warning for GH Taxi

I was in Stockholm last Thursday 26/05-2012 and I took this GH Taxi from Central Station to Södertällje, at around 9 o clock in the morning. The driver/förare number is 167807. The driver was very rude and barbaric, imagine for the distance of 37.5 km with 31 minutes driving time, I paid for SEK 1 306,00. Is this fair???? I was complaining beause the fast pris is only ca SEK500, but he was raising his voice I felt intimidated, I don't like to argue this type of person, I just pay him right away. I even told him that I need the receipt because I will reimburse it to our company....and you know what? He told me that if he knew that I will reimburse taxi payment, he will triple the taxi payment cost. How can you imagine this type of person. He is a hustler and very dangerous taxi driver. This taxi driver gives bad image to the descent taxi driver.

Sorry you got the idea there would be a "fast pris" of 500 between Sthlm City and Södertälje. Maybe you saw a price tag with the fixed price to/from Arlanda..? Among the largest companies a metered ride would cost you about 800SEK. If there are anything here you should report to the government that would be his behavior although I doubt they are interested in what you have to say unless you're the victim of a crime.s

Sorry to hear you got ripped off. However this practice is fullyt legal thanks to our lame authorities. Instead they seem to be taking steps towards making more difficulties for free taxis - a measure which is not having any impact on price. Instead we can expect the conscious-less companies to raise their prices to recover costs. To address your question - a price of max 700 would be normal if running on meter. For fixed price this would needed to be negotiated before.
Finally I would like the tax authorities to take a closer look at GH Taxi: if claiming triple the price if giving a reciept, this shows how this company operates.
